IT STARTED WITH
THE WRONG DRINK
A few years ago, I was invited to a Halloween party at a friend’s gorgeous home. Thrilled to have a night off, I asked the bartender for a Tequila Soda with lime. After taking a sip, I realized I was served a Gin and Tonic.
How could that have happened? This was a professionally-catered and staffed party. And I knew the host had spent big money. I mentioned the incident to a friend. She told me that she had once asked for a Tequila Soda at a private party and gotten a Tequila with Coke. That’s when I realized I could save other innocent people from cocktail party disasters.
The idea for Authentic Cocktails was born.

The way we see it, bartending is an art. With Authentic Cocktails, your guests will never get a Gin and Tonic when they ask for a Tequila Soda.
More likely, they won’t be asking for a Tequila Soda at all. Because our specialty cocktails – created specifically for your event and using seasonal, farmer’s market produce – are far more interesting, exciting, and refreshing than those standard bar go-tos.
